Ayden and I spent an evening high above downtown Grand Rapids capturing this incredible residence at GR Studio Park from every angle. From carefully timing the changing light to photographing the interiors, skyline views, and sending Herbie into the air, this project was all about showing what it truly feels like to live above the city. One space, two perspectives—and some seriously incredible views.

Earth to Herbie is more than a new drone photography and video business—it’s part of the process of sending Ayden off into the world with something of his own. As he heads into college, we took his talent behind the controls and built it into a fully functioning business, complete with a business plan, brand, marketing package, website, portfolio and booking system. Why I'm Saying Yes to Weddings… Again
So, with a full heart (and honestly, a lot of excitement), I'm officially opening my calendar for up to 10 weddings in 2027, along with intimate weddings and smaller celebrations throughout the year. Limiting the number isn't about scarcity; it's about intention. I still photograph families, branding sessions, interiors, commercial work, and all of the other pieces of my business that I love. By keeping my wedding calendar intentionally small, every couple receives my full attention, my energy, and the experience they deserve.
