Sessions are offered outdoors, in your family home, or at my studio located in Downtown Grand Rapids. Along with those gorgeous family portraits, we let kids be kids. Sessions should be fun and allow for kids to be kids! Making room to play, interact and capture true candid moments.

HEAD SHOTS & BRANDING
RANGING FROM $200 TO $1050
Looking to update that headshot online? How you present yourself and your business through your website and social media crucial. Imagery plays a huge role into that. I have small collections ranging from just 20-30 minutes to refresh those head shots, or full-service packages if you are looking to build content for a complete revamp.
FAMILIES
RANGING FROM $315 TO $1200
During our photo session, we are going to get you to laugh, play and let kids be kids! I have a number of photography packages, with full hour sessions starting at $400. These are designed to fit any type of dynamic, from just the kids to the whole extended family!
(Seasonal mini-sessions are $315, 2-3 times/year)
COMMERCIAL & INTERIOR DESIGN
RANGING FROM $300 TO $2000+
Commercial sessions are offered in hourly $300; half-day $950; and full-day rates $1800 or individually quoted to allow us the ability to curate sessions specifically designed for your company. This allows us the time and attention to detail needed for each individual project.

Dionel Fisher - Photographer and Owner of the Mittentog
With 16 years in the industry, I've had the opportunity to experience nearly every element of photography, from product and commercial to events and portraits. I built my business around families. Words can't express how amazing it is to not only capture my clients welcoming their new baby home but also to spend the years photographing them as they grow.
However, commercial photography is where I got my start a little over a decade and a half ago. Working in a commercial studio here in Grand Rapids gave me the technical knowledge needed to curate sets for everything from small products to larger projects and interior spaces. I have a true passion working with small businesses and designers. Being a part of someone else’s creative process and helping bring it to life, gives me life.
My love for photography was pretty immediate. I picked up a camera, and I’ve given it my everything ever since. I describe my style as a photographer as bright, bold and classic; but it’s the emotion behind it all that drew me in. Being able to capture an image of genuine emotion that evokes a feeling, brings me so much joy. Living in the world of candid will forever be a part of my style!
Life outside of the camera is mostly spent at home with my family. I have two gorgeous kids who keep life moving! (IYKYK) Being a mom to these two has not only brought joy to my life but also a true love and understanding for photographing other families. Among skill, technique, and style, I believe comfort plays an extremely important role in creating amazing photos (and a priority in every session)!

Have questions about your upcoming session? Here's a few common questions that come up
Q: Do you travel and how far?
A: I am always up for a trip! Out of the city, out of the state, or out of the country. When my job is able to take me on the road, I’m all for it. Added travel fees usually start to come into play about 2 hours or more out side of the Grand Rapids Area.
Q: Do you have a studio?
A: I have beautiful studio space in Downtown Grand Rapids. It has lots of natural light, studio lights, props and furniture which makes it a flexible space for nearly any style of session.
Q: For our photo session, do we pick the location or do you?
A: I prefer to do the location scouting prior to my sessions. I take into account a lot of different elements pertaining to lighting and the background when selecting the spot for our photos, but I want to know what you are looking for. The more information you have on the ideas you had in mind, the better.
Q: I’m not very good at posing in front of the camera, can you help me with that?
A: First, and most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera. I will guide you into poses and continue to prompt you throughout the session. By the end, the hope is that you forget there’s a camera in your face.
Q: Are digital files included?
A: Commercial sessions include all fully edited images within the hourly rates. For both wedding packages and nearly any style of portrait session there are a varying number of digital files with printing rights included, but all dependent on the package you choose.
Q: Can we bring our dog?
A: I welcome all furry family members. Make sure to bring some tasty treats along, or a friend if you feel you’d like some extra help during our session.
Q: Are your packages all that is available, or are you willing to customize?
A: I am always happy to help customize a photography package that fits your needs.
Q: Do you photograph boudoir sessions?
A: I certainly do! I have photography packages customized specifically for boudoir sessions, which include hair and make up on site. Please contact me directly for more information on this style of session! Out of respect for my clients and the private nature these sessions, I generally don’t post or blog these images.
