With nearly two decades of experience in interior design photography, Dionel Lake has a seasoned eye for detail and a deep love for the beautifully unexpected. Her work is vibrant, full of color and life—much like the families and spaces she captures. Whether it’s a cozy in-home session or a thoughtfully styled room, Dionel approaches every project with warmth, creativity, and an unwavering focus on authenticity.

Her goal? To create images that feel real. Alive. Like you. Dionel believes that the best photographs come from genuine connection—those little in-between moments that say everything without trying too hard. It’s not just about what you see, but what you feel when you look back at the photos.

Outside the frame, Dionel is a proud wife to Nick and mom to her wonderfully weird (and wildly loved) kids, Lucy and Ayden. Her family is the heart behind her lens—fueling her passion for freezing life’s chaos, love, and laughter in time. When she’s not behind the camera, she’s usually diving into a new creative project, embracing all things quirky and colorful, or soaking up the magic in everyday moments.

AYDEN FISHER

Ayden has grown from working behind the scenes with The MittenTog into building a creative business of his own. As the founder and drone operator behind Earth To Herbie, he specializes in aerial photography and video for architecture, real estate, construction, and commercial projects—combining a natural eye for imagery with his interest in engineering and technology.

Now an Engineering Honors student at Grand Valley State University, Ayden brings a technical, detail-driven approach to everything he does. His interests in engineering, flight, design, and technology translate naturally into his drone work, where precision and creativity are equally important.

Ayden still works alongside The MittenTog on select architectural, interior, and commercial projects, providing aerial imagery and an additional perspective when a project calls for it. But Earth To Herbie is also very much his own venture—giving him the opportunity to continue developing his skills, work directly with local businesses and builders, and gain real-world experience alongside his engineering education.

Calm, observant, and incredibly detail-oriented, Ayden has a knack for seeing spaces from a different perspective—and finding the angle that helps tell the whole story.

  • The length of the session depends on the type of photography you need. For example, family sessions typically last about an hour, while mini-sessions are 30 minutes. I’ll work with you to ensure we have enough time to capture everything you want.

  • I recommend wearing something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Solid colors or subtle patterns work best, and coordinating outfits without being too matchy-matchy can create a cohesive look. If you need more guidance, I’m happy to help with outfit suggestions.
